Waning sunset near Gunlock Utah. Instead of turning back and calling it a night, we kept driving hoping to see more color as the sun was going down. Luckily persistence paid off with one last blast of color over the desert and mountains.

This is the HMS President, a 1918 warship built for anti-submarine warfare and is one of the last three surviving warships of its kind. It was covered in "Dazzle Camouflage" by German artist Tobias Rehberger in 2014.
The Washington shoreline is a beautiful mix of rock and woods. Deception Pass is a great location to watch the clouds come and go. The water is a beautiful green/blue and once in a while there's some reddish-brown kelp too.
